Is it me, or is everyone's most recent journal entry the same: "WOW, I CAN'T BELIEVE [X AMOUNT OF TIME] HAS PASSED SINCE I'VE USED MY DA ACCOUNT." Well, that is very true. A "Self-demonstrating Article" if you were inclined to call it so. Weeeellll... here are the updates since last I used deviantArt. I have started teaching myself two new musical instruments: drums and bajo sexto. Yeah, you heard it. Almost joined a surf band as a keyboard player, but ended up just recording some cool retro scifi intro voiceovers for their live shows. Holy shit, have I really not update this thing in four years?  Lot has happened since then. Let's see- I've had one novel published, 10 A BOOT STOMPING 20 A HUMAN FACE 30 GOTO 10.  The publisher putting out "Antipaladin Blues went down in flames, and it seemed like the book was cursed- but the good people at Australian publisher LegumeMan Books are going to give it a shot in 2013.  Better late than never, I suppose. I've had shorts published in several places, even got a piece of art in the Vandermeer's anthology "Cabinet of Curiosities," which featured pieces by a coupla people like... oh, I dunno, Alan Moore?  Michael Moorcock?  China Mie

Well, here's the news.  I'm in talks with the "Evil Nerd Empire," a startup press (and would-be criminal empire, I'm sure), to publish a trilogy of novellas starting later this year.  They're going to be dark fantasy, a very urban satire of the whole fantasy genre, with lots of violence and a bit of sex.  I think this is going to be awesome.  At the moment I'm just writing, but I'm also trying to figure out the art.  As soon as I get my hands on a Wacom tablet, I'll do the cover art, but I am needing some b/w interior illustrations.  Currently I have the talented Valentina working on some, and also my friend Ean.  If anyone is inspired by the
